Acid rain splatters softly on shattered window glass Trickles slowly into earth that smells of sulfur gas. The houses are old and musty, the beds no longer made. Their tenants fast asleep in the graves that nature laid.
The parks are empty of children and laughter no longer sounds. Rusty signs caution play for many diseases are abound. The pond once full of fish reeks of sewage and decay. This toxic land they sowed no longer fit for childrens' play.

I never use reference material, though I suspect I should. I'm actually quite stunned -and flattered- that you so accurately managed to described my approach [in the last sentence of your comment]. Basically, it’s all intuitive; I’m not referencing anything in particular, only relying on what I think ‘looks good’ or, ‘makes sense’. Of course, this presents a certain amount of risk, ‘cause I’m no expert with skeletal/muscular structures.
Your gallery has me literally ‘ooh’ing and ‘ahh’ing at the monitor. I reckon’ we have a similar style, although my work has nowhere near the same amount of detail.
