Acid rain splatters softly on shattered window glass Trickles slowly into earth that smells of sulfur gas. The houses are old and musty, the beds no longer made. Their tenants fast asleep in the graves that nature laid.
The parks are empty of children and laughter no longer sounds. Rusty signs caution play for many diseases are abound. The pond once full of fish reeks of sewage and decay. This toxic land they sowed no longer fit for childrens' play.
